The gift of giving!

There is this little girl who comes over to my house almost every day after school to play with my kids. She is a real sweetie most days :) Well the last 3 days there was no school due to weather, but there was school today and it was the last day of school before Christmas break. She comes in today with a present for each one of my children. It was not much but I felt horrible because I was empty-handed. She kept saying to me, "Don't worry about it, you let me come over here all the time, and never ask for anything, so this is my way of saying THANKS!" Made my heart melt. What a little sweetie!

Busy day tomorrow!

Tomorrow it is going to be a very busy day! I get to get out clothes for everyone for Sat, and bathe everyone tomorrow night, but the super busy part of tomorrow shall be the 2 boxes of cupcakes I get to make and ice and decorate, and also 2 boxes of brownies. It shall be interesting, my children are not very giving when it comes to me having time to get the things done that I need to do. Gotta love having little ones!

McDonalds Sweetness

Ok so, my wonderful son Matthew did the sweetest thing tonight. He came up to me and said "momma, I eat at McDonalds". I said to him well baby boy, mommy does not have enough money to go to McDonalds for dinner, I am really super sorry. Then my son goes and grabs a quarter and says, "Momma take my monies"!!! Bless his little heart that was the cutest thing I think I have ever heard. He really honestly thought that we could go to McDonalds on a quarter. I love my baby boy!
